Why Tools of the Mind and Montessori Educational Approaches Can Help Executive Function Skills

School curricula empirically shown to improve EFs share several features in common. First, the classroom is not centered around the teacher, and the teacher is rarely expected to teach all children the same thing at the same time.

How Annual Giving Helps

Yearly support from parents, family, and friends enables Bannockburn to invest in projects that significantly improve the learning experience for ALL CHILDREN at Bannockburn.  Improvements to playground material and structures, refurbishment of the Music Room, enrichment of the Library, the construction of in-class Primary washrooms, and the building of the Toddler classrooms were all funded by the Annual Giving. 

In addition to special projects, proceeds from the Annual Giving also contribute to bursaries and financial aid for families at Bannockburn who are in need of economic assistance.
