Information Sessions

Formal Information sessions occur throughout the school year.

For the Primary child, sessions start with the first day at school. While the child spends one hour in their new classroom, the parent remains in the school to gather information from the Vice-Principal.

There is an orientation evening early in the Fall when the classroom teachers share important information about the events of the school year and the expectations the school has of the parents.

Four times per year, Primary information sessions are held in the morning for an hour just after drop-off. These sessions are for the parents of new students and take place in one of the Primary classrooms. The parents are introduced to all five areas of the Primary environment in greater detail so that they can become more informed about their child's day at school. Once each term, the parents of full-day children come into school just at the end of the day to visit the classroom. The children are working on the own activities while their parents observe.

Information sessions about the Elementary program are held in the Fall and Winter term.

The administration and staff are always available to talk with parents at any time.
