Why Tools of the Mind and Montessori Educational Approaches Can Help Executive Function Skills

School curricula empirically shown to improve EFs share several features in common. First, the classroom is not centered around the teacher, and the teacher is rarely expected to teach all children the same thing at the same time.

Tours and Open House

Bannockburn School is currently accepting applicants to the Toddler and Primary Programs for the upcoming school year.

 

We invite you to come and visit our school, and experience our highly-effective Montessori learning environment. Initial visits are held in the morning and include a guided tour of the building as well as an introduction to Bannockburn School’s Montessori education.

A second visit is then arranged for parents to observe a classroom for 45 minutes, and then engage in a one-on-one meeting with the vice-principal or principal to answer questions and better determine if the school meets the needs of the family and the child.

The child is then invited to the school for a visit, and the application process commences.
